DUSHAWN (DUEY) HADINGER, 56 YEARS YOUNG!
Who I Am:
For most of my life, I was almost always at the pinnacle of everything I did.
I made rooms laugh.
I created energy.
I delivered – consistently, visibly, relentlessly.
And from the outside, it worked. Behind the scenes, it cost more than I realized.
By my forties, I was battling depression, while trying to project that I was doing great, traveling constantly, and measuring success by how many people I fooled into thinking that everything was so easy for me and everything that I did was a success.
The problem wasn’t work ethic.
It wasn’t ambition.
It was my new inner depressed mindset questioning if I was failing myself and others.
I had lost my drive, confidence and motivation.
I had previously tied my identity with performance and performance with worth.
That confusion is far more common among high-performing people that hide and ignore warning signs of spiraling downwards than most people admit.
The Breaking Point I would Rarely Talk About.
At the height of my career,
I was:
Doing over 20 nutritional trade shows a year.
Working 60+ hours a week behind the scenes.
Getting approved for a patent on a nutritional supplement at the age of 28.
Married, raising kids, and striving to hold it all together.
From the outside: successful.
On the inside: depleted.
My health suffered.
My marriage felt the strain.
No matter how much I did, it never felt like enough.
That’s when I realized something most ambitious achievers never stop to question:
You can win on paper and still lose yourself in the process.
The Shift That Changed Everything
This is the shift I ignored and skipped – and paid for later.
The turning point wasn’t a new strategy.
It was a redefinition.
I stopped anchoring my identity in performance and began rebuilding from personal worth.
That shift changed:
How I made decisions.
How I led under pressure.
How I showed up at home.
How I measured success.
Today, I don’t claim perfection – but I live with:
Greater clarity.
Fewer self-inflicted fires.
Deeper presence More sustainable energy, And most importantly: alignment between who I am and how I lead.
That’s the work I now do with others.
Why People Hire Me:
I don’t coach theory. I coach lived experience – translated into practical frameworks.
My background gives me a rare vantage point:
I understand performance pressure from the inside
I know what it takes to command a room I know how easily people can lose themselves chasing results
Leaders work with me when they want:
Clear thinking without burnout.
Confidence without ego.
Results they actually respect.
If this resonates, we should talk.
I Have A Performance Background That Serves Everyday People and Leaders.
Before coaching and speaking, I spent over 38 years as a natural bodybuilder while earning my degrees in nutrition and physiology.
I Have:
Been one of the largest natural bodybuilders in the country
Had a patent on a capsule for a nutritional supplement
Won an award for The Best Of Columbus, (Ohio) Fitness Coaching and personal training website in 2014
Been a part of the largest nutrition and fitness trade shows in the world
That background isn’t a novelty – it’s an asset.
It taught me:
How to read a room
How to create psychological safety
How to engage people from diverse backgrounds without posturing
How to tell stories that land – not just impress or be cute
When I speak, I don’t motivate. I activate what is already in the audience.
Speaking & Coaching Today:
I work as a coach and leadership speaker for organizations and individuals navigating personal pressure, growth, and change.

Coaching Philosophy:

My style is:
Curious, not prescriptive.
Challenging, not shaming Strategic, not performative.
I hold certifications in leadership and coaching, with training in:
General and advanced nutrition
Physiology, Epigenetics And Performance Psychology
A Few Human Details:
I’m a husband and dad to the most wonderful daughter, son and step son.
To stay grounded I strength train naturally as a lifestyle and not a competitor.
I speak, teach, and I love spending quality time with my wife.
I love animals. They are great for emotional support and just fun and cute as heck.
Watching my kids give their best effort matters more to me than watching them win.
If You’re Still Reading, This Might Be for You.
If you’re successful – but feel stretched and that you may be spiraling downwards,
If your challenges feels heavier than they used to,
If you want results without losing yourself,
Let’s get you clear.
But what clients value most isn’t credentials – it’s quick clarity and results.

Experience with Dushawn (Duey) Hadinger:
Duey, (that is what I call him) is one of my best learning sponges and teachers. As a former professor and head of biology and medical departments, I am still amazed on how much Duey has taught me about ingredients, formulations and the physiology of how nutritional strategies, supplements and specific exercise regimens work in the body and brain.
Duey and I are currently working on a scientific research paper that will be published in a medical journal, on how Atherosclerosis and epigenetic factors contribute to prostate cancer. Duey gave me the epigenetic angle on this, and I incorporated that heavily in our paper.
Duey and I enjoy coffee 3 times a week, and I consider him a great friend.
Duey is extremely intelligent and passionate about getting people life changing and lasting results. You can be assured that his knowledge of nutrition, nutritional supplementation and physical training is second to none. I have also never seen anyone so disciplined and accountable for his own physical health.
